Propagation of Electroelastic Torsional Waves in Hollow Piezoceramic Cylinder Polarized in Circumferential Direction with Account for First Gradient of Electric Field Vector
摘要
The propagation of electroelastic torsional waves in an infinite piezoceramic cylinder with circular polarization is investigated. The theory of elastic dielectrics with electric quadrupoles is used to describe the piezoceramic medium. The equations of motion, kinematic and material equations are derived. In problem solving the following boundary conditions are used: the lateral surfaces of the cylinder are covered with infinitely thin short-circuited electrodes and are free of mechanical loads, while the electric field strength component normal to the lateral surface is assumed to be zero. The governing system of ordinary differential equations is reduced to normal form through performing some transformations, the method of its solution is proposed.
