Numerical Analysis of Stress State of Non-Thin Elliptical Cylindrical Shells Made of Continuously Inhomogeneous Materials

Problem on the stress state of non-thin elliptical cylindrical shells is considered using a spatial model. The numerical-analytical approach based on the methods of separation of variables, approximation of functions by discrete Fourier series, and discrete orthogonalization method is employed. The results of the calculations obtained for cylindrical shells made of continuously inhomogeneous materials are presented.
