Delamination of Thin Inclusion in Orthotropic Body Under Cyclic Load
摘要
Under planar conditions, separation of a thin rigid inclusion in an orthotropic body subjected to cyclic stress load parallel to its extension line has been investigated. Separation is preceded by the development of localized prefracture process zones (weakened contact), such as plastic zones, damage accumulation zones, partial debonding zone, etc. Analytical formulas for the effective length of the inclusion depending on the orthotropy parameters, load amplitude, number of cycles, strength and elastic characteristics of the matrix have been obtained. The effective length of the inclusion has been calculated for specific composite’s characteristics and the applied load.
