<p>Social and professional integration is helpful in fostering the health of women with mental health issues, and several group career counseling programs are offered to support their integration. However, few studies have been produced to understand counselors’ work activity in groups with this population. Thus, this article pursues this research objective. Drawing on a cultural–historical activity theory perspective, this research uses a methodology on the basis of a clinic of activity. The results highlight the importance given to the dignity of women and supporting their empowerment, and the contradiction between the need for a framework and flexibility in intervention.</p>
