摘要

This study involved a meta-analysis of 79 studies, with a sample of 97,825 participants, to examine the effects of work experience, extra-curricular activities, faculty support and academic performance on university students’ employability skills and self-perceived employability. The results indicate that all factors except extra-curricular activities have a significantly positive influence on self-perceived employability, with academic performance showing the strongest effect. All factors significantly contribute to employability skills, with work experience having the greatest impact. Self-efficacy significantly mediates these relationships. Gender and region moderate the relationship between work experience and self-perceived employability, with stronger effects in male students and those from Sub-Saharan Africa.
