<p>This study aimed to explore the relationship between self-concept clarity and career calling in preservice teachers, and to evaluate whether meaning in life and social support affected this relationship. Using a cross-sectional design, preservice teachers participated and collected valid data from 516 responses. The results showed that self-concept clarity positively predicted career calling. Meaning in life played a mediating role between self-concept clarity and career calling. In addition, social support moderated the direct association between self-concept clarity and career calling and the indirect effect through meaning in life. These results offer valuable insights for career development among preservice teachers.</p>
