摘要

This study tested the validity of the integrative Social Cognitive Career Theory model of satisfaction and persistence intentions, examining how schools’ organizational climates (management, teaching, and interpersonal) affect occupational well-being and turnover intention via personal and general teaching efficacy among Chinese high school teachers (N = 907; 50.1% male; 87.6% from public schools) using a questionnaire survey. Of the 18 hypothesized paths, 10 were verified by structural equation modeling (SEM), supporting the model’s potential applicability to Asian working adults while also highlighting necessary modifications for Chinese high school teachers. Implications to improve teachers’ occupational well-being and reduce turnover were discussed.
