The association of career learning experiences on career exploration: the mediating role of future decent work perception among Chinese teacher education undergraduates
摘要
This study explores the relationship between career learning experiences and career exploration, emphasizing the mediating role of future decent work perception (FDWP). Data from 542 Chinese teacher education undergraduates were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Mastery experiences, vicarious learning, verbal persuasion, and positive emotion are positively associated with career exploration, while negative emotion shows an indirect association through FDWP. FDWP is highlighted as a key mediator, offering insights into career development. This study extends social cognitive career theory and suggests practical implications for teacher education and culturally responsive career guidance.
