Relationship between proactive personality and career choice anxiety in college students: a mediated moderation model
摘要
College students’ career choice anxiety is a growing concern. Proactive personality may be an essential factor to reduce the anxiety of college students. However, the relationship and mechanism between the two remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to explore the role of career decision-making self-efficacy and perceived social support between proactive personality and career choice anxiety. With data from 1129 college students, we found that career decision-making self-efficacy played a mediating role, and perceived social support moderated the mediating path. This suggests that increased support can boost self-efficacy and reduce anxiety in career choices.
