Testing an integrative model of work–family conflict, social cognitive variables, and job and life satisfaction among Korean teachers
摘要
This study examined the associations between work-to-family conflict (WFC), family-to-work conflict (FWC), work-related self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and job and life satisfaction among 355 South Korean secondary school teachers (197 women, 158 men). The research model proposed that teacher self-efficacy and outcome expectations mediate the impact of work–family conflict on job and life satisfaction. The model demonstrated good fit to the data. Additionally, multigroup analysis revealed gender differences in the structural relationship between these variables. Practical implications for gender-specific interventions and future vocational guidance research to enhance job and life satisfaction of working adults are discussed.
