摘要

On the basis of the career construction model of adaptation, this study examines the influence of the growth mindset of intelligence (GMI) on occupational well-being (OWB) through perceived problem-solving ability and career adaptability. At time 1, 450 employees reported GMI, perceived problem-solving ability, and career adaptability. After 2 weeks, 352 of those 450 participants (mean, M; Mage = 34.52 years; standard deviation, SD; and SDage = 9.53 years) further reported occupational well-being. Results indicated that high GMI was related to high levels of occupational pleasure and low levels of occupational displeasure indirectly, through perceived problem-solving ability or career cooperation. The role of GMI in the workplace for improving an employee’s career adaptability and OWB is highlighted.
