Electroweak Phase Transition Near the Event Horizon of a Schwarzschild Black Hole

摘要

In this paper the behavior of the electroweak phase transition (EWPT) near the event horizon is investigated. The critical proper distance is estimated. Since the electroweak gauge symmetry is restored and all elementary particles become massless in the vicinity of the horizon, we define an EWPT surface located a short proper distance outside the black hole. Hawking particles with and without mass are also investigated in the presence of the EWPT surface. It is shown that massive particles can be trapped in the region between the horizon and the EWPT surface. The impact of the atmosphere thermal fluctuations on the EWPT surface is discussed.
