<p>This paper presents the results of the generalization of a model for bi-component droplet heating and evaporation to the case of droplets with an arbitrary number of components. The difference in the diffusion coefficients for the different liquid components is considered. The verification of the model is performed by comparing its predictions with the predictions of COMSOL Multiphysics for the same input parameters. For model validation, experiments were performed for the heating and evaporation of water/ethanol/acetone and water/ethanol droplets.</p>
