<p>This study presents new experimental data (density and viscosity) for binary mixtures of propyl methanoate with 2-alkanols (2-propanol, 2-butanol, 2-pentanol, 2-hexanol, 2-heptanol, 2-octanol) across the temperature range of 293.15 – 323.15 K. These systems had not been previously characterized at the studied temperatures. PC-SAFT accurately reproduces mixture densities, while the Redlich–Kister correlation effectively captures the trends in excess properties. PC-SAFT correctly estimated the density of the binary mixtures (0.11%). The combined use of empirical and theoretical models provides complementary information on the structure–property relationships that govern these mixtures, providing valuable data for predictive modeling and formulation design in solvent engineering.</p>
