<p>We study the operation of a relativistic Ka-band gyrotron with an output power level of about 1.5&#xa0;MW. In the frequency multiplication regime, we experimentally obtain a resonant curve of sixth-harmonic excitation at the frequency of about 167&#xa0;GHz, in good agreement with theoretical calculations. It has been shown theoretically that the radiation power at the tenth cyclotron harmonic at 0.27 THz can reach a −26&#xa0;dB level with respect to the output power at the fundamental harmonic.</p>
