<p>The paper explores how college students of color with foster care experience were uniquely impacted by the intersection of COVID-19 and racial violence, referred to as a syndemic. Using mixed-methods, we surveyed students (<i>n&#xa0;</i> =  194) and conducted student focus groups (<i>n&#xa0;</i>=  20) and individual interviews with staff members (<i>n</i>  =  3). Our quantitative findings revealed that students were impacted by identity-based discrimination, mental health concerns, and financial concerns. Our qualitative findings show the depletion of campus resources during the later stages of the syndemic and that students were navigating family disruption and&#xa0;family fragility. Lastly, a key finding revealed that campus was a safe space, largely because of the advocacy for foster youth by support program staff. This study offers crucial insights that can directly inform policy and shape best practices in higher education to support students of color with foster care experience.</p>
