摘要

We review the many ways in which lab-based \(^{151}\) Eu Mössbauer spectroscopy can be used to investigate the remarkably rich phenomenology of europium and its compounds. Examples presented include simple, first-order, and modulated-moment transitions. The technique’s exquisite sensitivity to europium valence is also discussed.
