摘要

Environmental regulations and sustainability concerns drive the development of eco-friendly cutting fluids in manufacturing. This review paper focuses on the performance of vegetable-based cutting fluids with extreme pressure additives in machining processes. Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) is gaining traction as a sustainable alternative to traditional flood cooling in machining. This review article investigates the effectiveness of MQL utilizing different vegetable-based cutting fluids. Analyze research findings on the influence of these fluids on crucial machining parameters like cutting force, temperature, surface finish, and tool wear. Additionally, the review explores the impact of specific vegetable oil types on machining outcomes. This comprehensive analysis will guide researchers and industry professionals towards adopting MQL with vegetable oils for sustainable and efficient machining processes.
