<p>Bdelloid rotifers are an important component of the biodiversity of ice-free regions of Antarctica. Despite this, knowledge of how to establish and maintain cultures, and optimal conditions for growth, is limited. In this study we investigated the influence of several culturing conditions on seven species (eight strains) of endemic Antarctic bdelloid rotifers, including <i>Adineta grandis</i>, <i>Adineta</i> sp., <i>Philodina gregaria</i>, <i>Philodina</i> sp. (Bd25)<i>, Habrotrocha devetteri</i>, <i>Habrotrocha</i> sp. (Bd14), and <i>Macrotrachela donneri</i> (two strains: CL-VH strain, MR-VH strain). A multifactorial design was used to assess temperature, media type, and food concentration. Results indicated that higher temperatures (15&#xa0;°C) were suitable conditions for egg-laying species, whilst the responses of live-bearing species were mixed. High concentrations of a commercial non-living algal food was the most successful feeding regime. The culture media preferences of the species were mixed and likely related to the natural distribution of each species. Troubleshooting for the cultures, general handling of the rotifers, and husbandry techniques for stock cultures are also provided. Culturing methods provided here will enable access to high numbers of individuals of these species for use in experiments (e.g., ecotoxicology, population studies) and for genetic sequencing.</p>
