<p>The Fundão dam rupture in Mariana was one of Brazil’s worst environmental disasters, causing severe soil and water contamination. In response, numerous research initiatives were launched to monitor aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity in the Doce River basin. These efforts generated a large number of new records of Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, and Trichoptera (EPT), resulting in the sampling of 248,087 adult specimens from 40 sites in rainy and dry seasons along this basin. Given the importance of EPT as a sensitive indicator of environmental changes and the need for monitoring and mitigation measures in this basin, their effective use requires understanding the local fauna. To ensure proper application in impact mitigation, studying the basin’s fauna and making this knowledge accessible is essential. To fulfill this need, an open-access EPTDoce database was created. This platform consolidates fragmented information from the literature and includes new findings from the project. EPTDoce enhances knowledge of EPT fauna in the Doce River basin while supporting biomonitoring and conservation efforts, facilitating up-to-date access to information for researchers, environmental managers, educators, and decision-makers.</p>
