A Modern Approach to the Stress-Strain Analysis of Turbine Blocks with a Steel-Lined Reinforced Concrete Spiral Case of High-Head Hydraulic Power Plants

The article presents an enhanced approach proposed by the authors for calculation of turbine blocks with a steel-lined reinforced concrete spiral case of high-head hydraulic power plants that allows to perform calculations of such complex structures more efficiently. Domestic and foreign experience in numerical and experimental studies of such structures was considered during the development of the approach. The approach was validated by comparing it with the results of an experiment on a large-scale model of the Rogun HPP turbine block.
