Calculating the Hydrodynamic Loads on the Stilling Basin Apron of the Krapivinsky HPP When Completing the Unfinished Hydraulic Project

The approach to evaluating the pressure pulsation on the apron slabs of the stilling basin of the Krapivinsky Dam are considered due to the recommencement of its construction and the reintroduction of design solutions after 35 years of abandonment. The pressure pulsations were averaged considering the two-dimensional turbulence of energy-carrying vortices. The transformation from the variance of the total load and the moment with respect to the base to the maximum deviations is based on frequency spectra. The results of calculating the dynamic loads on the apron slabs facilitated the evaluation of the local strength and stability of these slabs and the separation wall between the stilling basins and the spillway.
