Influence of Flow Characteristics on Logarithmic Velocity Profile

The influence of various factors on logarithmic velocity profile is considered. The dependence of the parameters of the logarithmic velocity distribution on the location of flow gauges across the channel width, the geometrical parameter b/h, and the channel grade was studied by processing experimental data for smooth and rough flumes obtained in the Laboratory of Hydraulics and Hydromechanics of the National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
