Conditions for Gas Hole Formation in the Gilyuy Bay of the Zeya Reservoir

The article presents the results of the ice cover survey conducted in the Gilyuy Bay at the end of April 2023. During the survey period, gas holes confined to methane outlets from bottom sediments were discovered. Elevated values of water temperature in the near-bottom horizons were recorded at gas hole sites and upstream.
