Impact of Sea Waves on Pendulum-Type Oil Platforms

Offshore platforms with pendulum bearings are currently used as hydraulic engineering structures for auxiliary purposes (well maintenance, tripping operations; oil supply to an offshore pipeline or a tanker, etc.). Results of theoretical and experimental studies on the effect of waves on pendulum-platform models performed to substantiate engineering solutions are presented.
