<p>Our research assesses the integrated landslide preparedness of the Marma community in Bangladesh’s landslide-prone Thanchi and Bandarban Sadar Upazilas. We conducted face-to-face field surveys with 268 Marma respondents. The results showed that 61% of respondents felt unsafe during landslides, 71% considered landslides dangerous, 86% knew the location of their shelter, 79% knew the evacuation route, 47% believed the early warning system was inadequate, 40% stayed despite an early warning due to a lack of understanding, and approximately 61% were unaware of landslide management organizations. We identified knowledge, subsistence, loss minimization, education level, and participation in drills as key factors influencing preparedness.</p>
