The following issues are considered: theoretical models of the strength of flat glass, parameters determining the strength value, the probabilistic nature of destruction of flat glass when used as building glazing, selection of a strength value distribution of flat glass, data censoring, determination of the probabilistic characteristics of flat glass strength, including the normative value of bending strength.</p>
