Microstructure Evolution of Bacterial Cellulose Gel-Films During Cultivation
摘要
The hierarchal structure of bacterial cellulose (BC) gel-films grown during static cultivation of Gluconacetobacter hansenii GH-1/2008 for 5-30 d on standard Hestrin-Schramm growth medium was analyzed. A correlation of the growth rate of the BC gel-film on time was established. The crystal structure of BC gel-film microfibrils did not change during cultivation and corresponded to the cellulose I structure. Features of the formation of the anisotropic and isotropic parts of BC gel-films during the synthesis were revealed.
