<p>Information on the mechanical characteristics of aramid fibers manufactured in China, South Korea, and Russia is reviewed. Characteristics of Chinese fiber brands Aramid 1414, Fanglun 1414, Staramid, VICWA, and Taparan; Korean brands ALKEX and Heracron; and Russian brand Rusar are discussed. Attention is focused on aramid fibers with increased modulus that can be used as components of structural composite materials. The scientific and technical progress of China is noted, where large technological lines for a full manufacturing cycle from production of raw material to output of items made of composite materials were assembled in a short time.</p>

Information on the mechanical characteristics of aramid fibers manufactured in China, South Korea, and Russia is reviewed.
