摘要

The possibility of using rare-earth metals to strengthen the dyeing by chrome dyes of wool textile materials was studied. Chrome and monochrome dyes of various structures containing various sets of functional groups capable of forming stable chelate rings with the metals were studied. The influence of the rare-earth metal salt composition and dyeing technology on the dyeing stability of wool fabric samples to crabbing was studied. The dyeing stability of wool fabric was found to depend on the dyeing technology and the structural features of the dyes. Removal of the dye from solution was found to depend on the HOAc concentration. Removal of a dye was shown to improve after adding rare-earth metals to the dyeing solution. In several instances, the dyeing stability to crabbing also increased. It was hypothesized that the increase in the dyeing stability of the fabric to crabbing was due to formation of a complex of the dye with a rare-earth metal.
