Evaluation of Quality of Mixture of Polymer Components in Rotary Device

When choosing the quality criterion of a recyclable-original polymer mixture in the form of heterogeneity factor, it was evaluated in the case of operation of a mixing device, in the operating volume of which occurs overlapping of the formed rarefied flows of particles, which are dispersed by two rotary-type mixing units. Validation of the results of evaluation of this factor made it possible to determine the appropriate ranges of variation of the important parameters of the device (slope of the baffles, angular drum rotation speed, complex characteristic reflecting the degree of deformation of the blades, etc.) and to confirm the efficiency of implementation of two mixing stages.
