Calculation of Technological Parameters of Mixed-Batch Sunk-Loop Knit Fabrics

The feasibility of designing plated knit fabric made by simultaneous knitting of synthetic fibers and natural fiber yarn was studied. In designing this knit fabric, it is important to take account of the bending stiffness of the fibers. Data on the stiffness of various chemical and natural fibers are presented. The procedure was tested experimentally on fabrics from yarn containing polyacrylonitrile, polyester, wool, flax, and cotton fibers.
