Modeling and Digital Prediction of Viscoelastic Properties of Marine Polymer Ropes

Issues with mathematical modeling and digital prediction of the viscoelastic properties of marine polymer ropes are discussed. The development of numerical methods to calculate deformation processes of marine polymer ropes and computer programs based on them was inextricably related to the solution of problems with comparative analysis of the material properties, with studies of the property−structure relationship, with targeted technological regulation of the properties, and with prediction of short-term and long-term mechanical effects.
