Modeling Rinsing of Residual Solvent from Fiber Produced from the Copolymer of Acrylonitrile, Methacrylate, and 2-Acrylamide-2-Methylpropanesulfonic Acid
摘要
An analytical model enabling a prediction of the residual solvent content in a fiber upon changing the operational and construction parameters of a rinse section was obtained based on the kinetic laws of the rinsing process and a generalized mass-transfer equation. Dependences of the residual solvent content in the fiber on the fiber pass-through rate, rinse effectiveness coefficient, and relative feed rate coefficient of deionized water into the rinse bath were plotted. Results obtained at control points of an actual manufacturing process and calculated using the developed model were compared.
