Mass Dyeing of Polyacrylonitrile by Thermochromic Dyes

The effect of a thermochromic dye on the viscosity and stability of DMF solutions of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) was studied. The uniformity of the dye distribution in PAN films was characterized. The physicomechanical properties of thermochromic PAN films were studied.
