The awakening mechanism of environmental awareness during green exhibitions
摘要
The Green Design Exhibition enhances visitors’ environmental awareness, contributing to the mitigation of ecological degradation. To clarify the exhibition’s impact on visitors’ “emotion-identification-behavior” mechanism, a nonlinear interaction approach under complex causality is proposed. A comprehensive analysis is conducted across four dimensions: external environment, emotional response, identification, and behavioral intention. The findings reveal: (1) Emotional touchpoints within the Green Design Exhibition: physical environment, atmospheric environment, and social interaction all elicit emotional responses from visitors. (2) Visitors’ emotional responses: Positive emotions, positive-negative emotions, and negative emotions significantly influence identification, with positive emotions and positive-negative emotions having a more pronounced impact on self-identification, while negative emotions more strongly affect social identification. (3) Through identification: Both self-identification and social identification significantly influence behavioral intention, though self-identification exerts a stronger influence on behavioral intention. The research results indicate that the key pathway is “physical environment - positive emotion - self-identification - environmental behavior intention.” The external environment significantly impacts visitors’ emotions, positive emotions are the core driver of self-identification, and self-identification more powerfully drives environmental behavior intention.
