Influence of industrial robot application on industrial carbon emission efficiency-empirical analysis based on mediating effect and spatial measurement
摘要
To explore the relationship between the application level of industrial robots (IRAL) and industrial carbon emission efficiency (ICEE) under the constraint of the “dual carbon” target, this study measured the ICEE of China’s 30 provinces from 2010 to 2022 based on panel data, and empirically tested the selected objects using SDM and mediation model. The test results found that IRAL can promote the enhancement of ICEE; IRAL can promote the enhancement of ICEE through two paths: enhancing technological innovation level and suppressing energy intensity level; The test results of spatial effects indicate that the improvement of IRAL has a beneficial impact on the enhancement of ICEE in the local area, but has little impact on the ICEE of surrounding areas. IRAL’s development drives up ICEE in China’s eastern seaboard region, but its influence on western and central regions is insignificant.
