摘要

Efficient disposal of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste is critical for reducing environmental contamination and advancing sustainable development goals. The paper provides a unique methodology for selecting sustainable PET waste treatment technologies based on Interval-Valued Hesitant Fuzzy Set (IVHFS) theory and the Comprehensive Ratio Assessment with Distance from Ideal Solution (CRADIS) method. The IV-HFS framework enables the depiction of uncertain and imprecise information that arises during PET waste management decision-making procedures. The CRADIS method facilitates a comprehensive evaluation of candidate technologies considering multiple criteria, including environmental impact, resource consumption, economic viability, social impact, capacity, and technical applicability. Through a case study application, the suggested technique illustrates its usefulness in assisting decision-makers in discovering and prioritising sustainable PET recycling technologies. The findings demonstrate the viability of IV-HFS theory and the CRADIS approach in resolving the complexities and uncertainties associated with technology selection for PET recycling of waste. Finally, contributes to the advancement of circular economy concepts and environmental sustainability.
