摘要

Expanding the sharing economy has led to the development of many accommodation and hospitality booking service platforms. These service platforms offer a more diverse list, including the original hotel listings, and integrate with various hotel and B&B operators to provide a broader range of rental options. However, how each accommodation and hospitality booking service platform decides its platform's functionality and services is challenging for service providers. Therefore, based on expert interviews and a comprehensive literature review, this study explores users' preferences for accommodation and hospitality booking service platforms from two angles: product-function innovation and service-process deepening. The study summarizes four evaluation aspects: platform service system, accommodation space information, surrounding service facilities, and hospitality and recreation services. In addition, the study analyzes the improvement status of each product and service process across aspects of product and service demand, using the product functionality innovation and service process deepening analysis approach (FSA). The study also uses network relations maps (NRMs) to investigate the mutual influence between aspects. The study uses FSA–NRM analysis to evaluate the level of functional innovation and service deepening achieved in each element of service need, as well as the network relationship structure among these aspects. Through FSA–NRM analysis, the study identifies the most effective methods for improvement and assists service providers in establishing more efficient service development strategies for various stakeholders. Additionally, the study incorporates the FSA and NRM approaches to propose the FSA–NRM approach for exploring selected strategies and diverse development paths for accommodation and hospitality booking service platforms.
