<p>Quality parent-child interaction is of great importance in supporting the communication skills of children with ASD. At this point, parents need to be good teachers. One of the ways to transform a parent into a qualified teacher is a coaching procedure based on performance feedback. However, even if parents volunteer for this procedure, factors such as time, setting, and cost may need to be addressed. In this case, remote support with the help of technology is efficient for coaches and parents in many ways. In this study, we aimed to provide parents with the skills to apply the mand-model (MM) steps within naturalistic instruction practices to improve the communication skills of their children with ASD through bug-in-ear (BIE) eCoaching. We also examined whether parents and children with ASD maintained the acquired behaviors after the intervention was completed. We also collected social validity data from parents before and after the intervention to determine their perceptions of the intervention process. A single-subject research design, multiple probes between participant pairs, was used. The findings showed that BIE eCoaching was effective in parents’ use and maintenance of MM. Moreover, children with ASD acquired and maintained communication skills through the MM provided by their parents. Social validity findings showed that parents’ perceptions of BIE eCoaching were positive.</p>
