The relationship among AI literacy, creativity-relevant character, and creative problem-solving ability in adolescents - based on the comparison between South Korea and China
摘要
This study aimed to examine the differences in the relationships among AI Literacy, Creativity-relevant Character, and Creative Problem-solving ability across South Korean and Chinese student groups. A total of 1,210 samples were analyzed in the research. The key findings are as follows. First, AI Literacy positively influenced both the affective and cognitive aspects of Creativity-relevant Character in both groups. However, in South Korea, the impact on the affective characteristics was stronger, while in China, the cognitive characteristics were more strongly affected. Second, the affective and cognitive aspects of Creativity-relevant Character partially mediated the relationship between AI Literacy and Creative Problem-solving ability in the South Korean group, whereas a full mediation effect was observed in the Chinese group. Third, the influence of these characteristics on Creative Problem-solving ability was positively significant in both groups. While the effect of affective characteristics was similar across both groups, cognitive characteristics had a stronger influence in China compared to South Korea. This study contributes to understanding the role of cultural differences in the relationship among AI Literacy, Creativity-relevant Character, and Creative Problem-solving ability.
