摘要

STR2, an optimized version of the Simple Tabular Reduction algorithm, was introduced in a 2011 issue of the Constraints journal. Since then, new developments in filtering algorithms for table constraints have been made, notably Compact-Table (CT), a highly optimized algorithm that leverages successful techniques and data structures. In this paper, we show that, in certain contexts, STR2 remains the preferred option, especially when the size of the variable domains is very large.
