摘要

A new resveratrol derivative, trans-resveratrol-4′-O-gallate (1), has been isolated from the leaves of Polygonum multiflorum, together with eight known compounds, resveratrol (2), 2,3,5,4′-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-β-D-glucoside (3), emodin (4), chrysophanol (5), tricin (6), apigenin (7), gallic acid (8), and methyl gallate (9). The structure of the new compound 1 was determined using spectroscopic and MS analyses. Among the isolates, trans-resveratrol-4′-O-gallate (1), resveratrol (2), emodin (4), and apigenin (7) showed potent inhibition with IC50 values of 8.27 ± 0.54, 12.74 ± 1.28, 13.02 ± 0.52, and 11.75 ± 1.07 μM, respectively, against LPS-induced nitric oxide generation. In addition, compounds 1, 2, 8, and 9 also showed potent DPPH radical scavenging activities, with IC50 values of 7.28 ± 0.57, 13.48 ± 1.25, 15.17 ± 1.36, and 35.06 ± 2.69 μM, respectively.
