摘要

In our continuous effort to investigate hypoglycemic constituents from Viburnum plants, phytochemical research has discovered one undescribed tetrahydrofuran lignan, viburceol A (1), together with five known lignan constituents (2–6) from the leaves of Viburnum cylindricum. The structure of compound 1 was determined by spectroscopic analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR, and HR-ESI-MS, as well as DP4+ NMR and ECD calculations. Additionally, the α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of all the isolates was evaluated, among which compounds 5 and 6 exhibited moderate α-glucosidase inhibitory activity.
