<p>Chunyin (<b>1</b>), a new tetraoxygenated coumarin, along with eight known coumarins including coumarin (<b>2</b>), aesculetin (<b>3</b>), scopoletin (<b>4</b>), isoscopoletin (<b>5</b>), aesculetin dimethyl ester (<b>6</b>), umbelliferone (<b>7</b>), xanthyletin (<b>8</b>), and psoralen (<b>9</b>), were isolated from the stems of <i>Cinnamomum reticulatum</i> Hayata (Lauraceae). The structure was characterized and identified by spectral analysis.</p>
