<p>A new pyridine, 2-(4′-hydroxyphenyl)-1-(4′′-hydroxypyridin-2′′′-yl)ethyl hydrogen carbonate (<b>1</b>) and eleven known compounds (<b>2–12</b>) were isolated from the fruit of <i>Lycium ruthenicum</i>. The structure of the new pyridine was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.</p>

A new pyridine, 2-(4′-hydroxyphenyl)-1-(4′′-hydroxypyridin-2′′′-yl)ethyl hydrogen carbonate (1) and eleven known compounds (2–12) were isolated from the fruit of Lycium ruthenicum. The structure of the new pyridine was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
