Three Biscoumarin Compounds from Daphne gemmata
摘要
The phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Daphne gemmata led to the isolation and characterization of three biscoumarin compounds, including one new compound identified as secodihydroedgeworin (1), along with two known compounds, daphnoretin (2), and methyl 3-(2-hydroxy-4-(7-hydroxy-6-methoxycoumarin-3-yloxy)phenyl)propanoate (3). Their structures were elucidated by combinational analyses of HR-MS and NMR spectroscopic techniques. The three compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against A549, MDA-MB-231, and SW480 cell lines by MTS assay, and the results indicated that compounds 1 and 3 exhibited moderate cytotoxic activities against the MDA-MB-231 cell line, with IC50 values of 15.39 ± 1.07 μM and 20.27 ± 1.28 μM, respectively.
