A New Diphenylethylene Derivative from a Mangrove Endophytic Fungus Alternaria sp. R6
摘要
A new diphenylethylene derivative, (Z)-2,4-dimethoxy-6-(4-methoxystyryl)benzaldehyde (1), along with the known alternariol (2), alternariol 4,10-dimethyl ether (3), and alternariol 4-methyl ether (4), were isolated from a mangrove endophytic fungus Alternaria sp. R6. The structure of 1 was elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopic analysis, and those of the others were established by comparison with corresponding literature data. Compound 1 displayed weak inhibitory activities against Colletotrichum musae, Fusarium oxysporum, and Escherichia coli (serotype O6).
