<p>A&#xa0;new model of approximation by a&#xa0;linear equation is considered. The parameters of the linear equation are calculated using the least squares method. Coordinates are replaced, as a&#xa0;result of which the model is transformed into a&#xa0;system of linear equations solved Gauss method or by Kramer’s rule. The approximation by the new method provides a&#xa0;lower variance or standard deviation compared to its classical version.</p><p>The proposed algorithm can be used without any modification in the tasks of optimal tracing of linear sections of water and gas pipelines, highways minimally remote from consumers, forecasting the production program or determining the minimum length of transport conveyors in the production shop.</p>

摘要

A new model of approximation by a linear equation is considered. The parameters of the linear equation are calculated using the least squares method. Coordinates are replaced, as a result of which the model is transformed into a system of linear equations solved Gauss method or by Kramer’s rule. The approximation by the new method provides a lower variance or standard deviation compared to its classical version.
