Medisecure: a hybrid approach for enhancing multimedia data protection in healthcare
摘要
Ensuring multimedia data security is crucial in healthcare to protect patient privacy, maintain data integrity, and adhere to regulatory requirements. Encryption, access control, data backup, and disaster recovery are key strategies and technologies to safeguard multimedia data in healthcare. The research analysis gathered CT scan pictures and presented a new hybrid encryption architecture to secure medical data. The proposed work comprises two parts: An image compression technique called Generative Adversarial Networks with Filtering (FGAN) is used to obtain high Compression Ratios (CR) while maintaining Reconstruction Accuracy (RA) values above 98%. DNA coding, which converts each compressed image pixel into four nucleotides in the following stage. Each nucleotide is paired for a specific duration by following the complementary rule. The suggested technique has shown robust encryption performance and a key space large enough to protect against common cyber risks, as evidenced by experiments and security investigations. The system and security analysis confirm the reliability and durability of the method for encryption in healthcare. The suggested hybrid encryption framework can decrease the size of an image while maintaining a high level of security suitable for encrypting medical images.
